Welcome to HK Live (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the HK Live mobile application, website, and related services (“Services”). By creating an account or using HK Live, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use HK Live. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Nigerian law.
To use HK Live, you must register and provide accurate, up-to-date information such as your name, gender, date of birth, and location. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that violates our Terms or involves fraudulent, harmful, or misleading behavior.
You agree to use HK Live responsibly and respectfully. You must NOT:
Violating these terms may result in suspension or permanent ban of your account without refund.
You are solely responsible for all content (text, photos, videos, stories, etc.) that you post on HK Live. By posting content, you grant HK Live a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely within the app to provide matchmaking and related services.
You confirm that you own the rights to any content you upload and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
HK Live offers optional paid features, such as Premium subscriptions, sponsored stories, or additional uploads. Payments are handled through trusted third-party processors (Google, Apple, or Flutterwave).
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your app store account settings at any time.
The app may use your location to help you find nearby matches and stories. By granting permission, you allow us to use location data solely for matchmaking and app functionality purposes.
We encourage safe and respectful interactions. HK Live is not responsible for user behavior, online or offline. Always be cautious when meeting people in person, and report suspicious activities via the in-app “Report” button.
You may delete your account at any time in the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the app. Upon termination, you lose access to all HK Live features, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
All app content, branding, and software are owned by HK Live or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of our app or content without our written consent.
HK Live is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees that matches will be successful, that the app will be error-free, or that users’ actions will meet your expectations. We are not responsible for any emotional, physical, or financial harm resulting from interactions with other users.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HK Live and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months.
Your use of HK Live is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of HK Live after changes means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute shall be resolved in a competent court within Lagos State, Nigeria.
